Abdulaziz ed-Dihlevi does not include any reference for this definition in his work. This definition is included in these works; el-Mübârekfûrî’s Mukaddimetu Tuhfeti'l-ahvezi, el-Kannevci Sıddik Hasan Han’s el-Hıtta fi zikri's-sıhahi's-sitte, Muhammed b. Ali b. Adem Musa İsyubi Vellevi’s Kurretu ayni’l-muhtâc fi şerhi Mukaddimeti Sahihi’l-İmam Müslim b. el-Haccâc, Hasan Muhammed Eyüb’ün Kitâbu’l-hadis fi ulumi’l-Kur’an ve’l-hadis and based on Abdülazîz ed-Dihlevî himself. The definition of the concept of Jami’ in later sources is attributed to Abdulaziz ed-Dihlevi in some sources and to other works in some. As a result, the term Jami’ has been accepted with its octal classification feature and it is included in many sources in this way.
