Abstract

The art of manual cold working of artistic metal products wasone of the main areas of the traditional culture of the ethnic group. It showedthe most substantial characteristics of the artistic and figurative vision of the world,aesthetic principles, expressiveness of the language of folk arts and craftsart. The imperishability and capacity of the scientificinformation (technical and technological parameters of jewelry, theirconstruction and formal morphological features, ornamental signs andsymbols) make it a fundamental source in the knowledge of the stages of formationjewelry art, closely connected with the ethno-cultural history of the people. In the XVIII -early 20th century a significant place in toreutics was occupied by women's jewelrydecorations, they constituted the most powerful layer of traditional culture and artthe vast majority, especially the Turkic peoples of Eurasia, where theythe saturation in the costume was especially high. Diachronic analysis allowsto see in them the trends of transformation of ethnic culture
