FOREIGN TRADE IN THE SOUTHEAST ANATOLIA REGION OF THE SYRIAN WAR EFFECT

Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of the civil war in Syria on foreign trade in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. Methods: In this study, the Agency received from Turkey to statistics, export data covering the period of 2006-2018 years-product was analyzed on the basis of export data. Results and Conclusion: Turkey, Syria post-war decline in exports showed that Southeast Anatolia (GAB), the opposite has been observed to exhibit a table. The export figure, which was $ 69,914.704 in 2006, was found to reach $ 190,331,623 until the 2011 war period. In the post-war period, GAB was the highest in exports in 2015 with a record level of $ 539,532,739, in 2018, exports were determined as 549.994.634 $. The most important reasons for the increase in the GAB exports, the demand for basic needs items after logistical advantages and battle it provides due to its proximity to the border increased and increased GAB is that it has the infrastructure to meet that demand.
