THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOUTH'S DEATH ANXIETY AND THE LEVEL OF THE BASIC EMPATHY AND THE MEANING TO LİFE

This research is carried out for the purpose of analyzing the connection between death anxiety, basic empathy capacity and meaning of life. In this research, descriptive research model of Quantitative Research Models is used. The study group consisted of 400 university students who continue their undergraduate studies and voluntarily participate in the study. “Self-Description Form”, “The Meaning in Life Questionnaire”, “Basic Empathy Scale” and “Thorson Powell Death Anxiety Scale” “Personal Information Form” was used in collecting the data. In the analysis of the data, parametric and nonparametric tests and correlation analysis were used in accordance with the normality distribution. In the results obtained, a meaningful difference cannot be founded between the sociodemographic features and the basic empathy capacity and meaning of life of youngs, there is a significant difference between gender variable and death anxiety of men was determined to be higher than women.
