Abstract

Occupational health and safety (OHS); aims to provide employees with a working life free from dangers and risks. In order to ensure the safety of employees in our country, the OHS Law No. 6331 was enacted. With this law, public and private employees were obliged to receive OHS training. In our study, it is aimed to determine the awareness of the administrative staff working at Hitit University after the OHS basic training and to determine whether these differences differ depending on the demographic characteristics of the employees. In this sense, the universe of the research; While the administrative staff at Hitit University are constituted, the sample consists of administrative employees who can be reached and voluntarily participate in the study. The data were collected by face to face survey method. As a result of the research, the level of awareness of the administrative workers about the occupational health and safety after the training and the factors affecting this were determined
