Abstract

Although Occupational Health and Safety has a history as old as humanity, it has gained importance with the development of industry. With the establishment of factories and the replacement of manpower by machines, increases in occupational accidents and occupational diseases brought the concept of occupational health to the agenda. In the developing process, occupational health and safety practices are carried out by adopting proactive approaches with occupational physicians and occupational safety professions.. With the publication of the 6331 Occupational Health and Safety Law in our country in 2012, it has become mandatory to apply in dangerous and very dangerous enterprises. In the law numbered 6331, the obligations of the employer are also specified. The purpose of Occupational Health and Safety is to ensure the safety of the enterprise, the continuity of production and a healthy environment suitable for the employees. The employer fulfills its occupational health and safety obligations by getting support from itself or the external expert.
