ABDULLAH WITH AHMET MİTHAT EFENDİ'S GÜRÜ Daughter OR REVENGE NOVEL THE GEORGIAN IMAGINE IN TATAROĞLU'S NOVEL OF THE GEORGIAN SUN

Abstract

In the recent years , researchers in literature and culture have paid a great deal of attention to the studies regarding imagination , imagination of words , vision ,sight,long range sight, sculpturing, virtual image. While studiying and researching in the area of the imagination science, other fields such as sociology, psycology, history and anthropologia must be included also. As working in the imagination science needs multi fields to be comprimized.İn the field of imagination science ,according to the auther; the factors that lead to create an image are more important than the image itself wethe it is right or wrong.In this context we tried in our paper to focus on the Georgian image by studying Ahmet Mithat Efendi’s book“Gürcü Kızı Yahut İntikam” in addition to Abdullah Tataroğlu’s book “ Gürcü Güneş”.Taking in consideration that those two books were written in different periods of time , both books have showed the Georgians as representative of the eastern people. The authors have compared between the easterns and westerns and they have the idea that the eastern are superiors.After we mentioned the Georgian image in our paper, we highlighted the main differences between the two books in which we can say that Abdullah Tataroğlu has written his book relying on the novel of Ahmet Mithat Efendi
