Abstract

The concept of entrepreneurship, which has gained importance in recent years, has led to significant differences in the demographic structure of workers and employers around the world, and these differences have also affected women a great deal. Before the concept of entrepreneurship became important, women's duties were seen as household tasks. However, after the industrial revolution, women were thrown into work. Entrepreneurship, which has been perceived as a men's Arena throughout history, is now evolving with the touch of women. So much so that women entrepreneurship is increasing all over the world and becoming an economic value. However, in underdeveloped and developing countries, it is very difficult for women to appear in this arena. In this context, this study covers the results of surveys and interviews conducted with 105 women entrepreneurs registered with Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Malatya. The aim of the study is to present the problems of women entrepreneurs in Malatya and to offer solutions.
