Abstract

Turkification of the socio-economic life implemented after the proclamation of the Turkish Republicpolicy was the source of various social events during the 1920s and 30s. 1934Violence against the Jewish community in various provinces and districts of Thrace inoccurred in context. In this article, the wave of violence referred to as the "Thrace Incidents"The effect of the magazine was discussed; Jewish representations echoed in the pages of the magazine andThe dimensions of othering discourse have been problematized.
